William Mansell, a traditional family jewellers was established near London’s Marble Arch in 1864. After more than 150 years of repair, restoration and sales of clocks, watches, jewellery, silverware, barometers etc from premises near Marble Arch, the business now operates online and by post.
William Mansell was established in 1864, close to London’s Marble Arch, and still to this day, the family-run business is one of the leading retailers of vintage, antique & pre-owned jewellery, silverware, clocks and watches.
We strive to give a first class customer service and aftercare service with every purchase and repair to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. We maintain
strong lines of communication with each of our customers as they are provided with a progress report of every repair and special order and finally contacted
when the item is ready for collection.
Some Time ago the Daily Telegraph ran a very small article about William Mansell being able to ‘repair the impossible’, including Bulova Accutron (the world’s first tuning fork wristwatch). As a result we received over one hundred watches from all over the UK that had been turned away by other jewellers as too difficult to repair. We successfully repaired all of them. We are still receiving additional repairs today from many of these customers, as they were so impressed with our service.
